MIGHTY MUGGS
As a designer at Hasbro, I worked on the relaunch of the Mighty Muggs collectible figure line, bringing a fresh update to the classic brand. This new version featured a unique interactive feature: each figure's head could be pressed down to cycle through three different facial expressions. I led development for the Star Wars, Marvel, and Transformers assortments, managing concept development and licensor approvals across all three major franchises.

EXPRESSION - CHANGE FEATURE
This page highlights the core feature of the revamped Mighty Muggs : when you press down on the top of the figure’s head, the face rotates to reveal one of three expressions. Ranging from calm to angry to comically shocked, the rotating faces added a layer of personality and playability to the stylized vinyl-like figures.

This page showcases the full assortment of Marvel Mighty Muggs that I worked on, featuring iconic characters like Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America, Black Panther, and Thanos. Each figure included a trio of expressive faces designed to capture the character’s attitude and humor in a collectible format.
STAR WARS MUGGS LINEUP
This page displays the Star Wars Mighty Muggs lineup, with characters like Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Rey, Kylo Ren, and Boba Fett. The expressive faces ranged from serious to silly, helping to reimagine fan-favorite characters with a more playful, stylized tone.
TRANSFORMERS MUGGS LINEUP
This page features the Transformers Mighty Muggs collection, including Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, and Starscream. The designs preserved the bold shapes and colors of each character while adapting them to the simplified Mighty Muggs form, with rotating faces to add fun and personality.
