LITTLE BITS

For this Little Bits commercial series, I created keyframe illustrations as a concept artist to define the look and tone of each story, from a wind-powered Mars invention to a trash-eating robot and a girl building a device to talk to whales.  My work helped visualize these imaginative ideas early in production.

MARS WINDMILLS - FINAL VIDEO ANIMATION

A whimsical commercial imagining sustainable energy on Mars, Windmill on Mars explores how Little Bits could empower future inventors, even on other planets.  The animation features a charming blend of sci-fi and childhood imagination, showing a young builder bringing wind energy to life in the red Martian dust.

MARS WINDMILLS - KEY CONCEPT ART

I created keyframe illustrations in Photoshop to visualize the dusty Martian environment, the playful tone, and the hero moment when the windmill comes to life.  These frames helped establish the overall art direction and storytelling for the final animation.

TRASH EATING BOT - FINAL VIDEO ANIMATION

In Trash-Eating Bear Bot, a clever kid uses Little Bits to build a robotic bear that chomps its way through litter, combining humor and environmental awareness in a compact, kinetic story.  The animation emphasizes creativity, problem-solving, and a love for playful engineering.

TRASH EATING BOT - KEY CONCEPT ART

My Photoshop concept frames captured the tone, composition, and visual rhythm of the commercial, from the first spark of invention to the bear bot’s triumphant trash sweep.  These illustrations laid the groundwork for character design and shot planning.

HOW TO TALK TO WHALES - FINAL VIDEO ANIMATION

How to Talk to Whales is a poetic, surreal piece about a kid using Little Bits to invent a communication device that allows her to talk to whales.  The animation blends wonder, emotion, and invention into a short story that feels both epic and intimate.

HOW TO TALK TO WHALES - KEY CONCEPT ART

I provided keyframe concept art to capture the magical realism of the oceanic setting and the emotional connection between child and whale.  These frames were used to explore lighting, mood, and shot design for key moments in the animation.
